Hint:
When installing the ornament plate and emblem, heat the radiator grille, ornament plate and emblem using a heat light.
Standard heating temperature
Notice:
Do not heat the emblem base and emblem excessively.
- Install radiator grille emblem
- Attach the 4 claws to install the radiator grille.
- Install radiator grille ornament plate (for separate type)
- Install the ornament plate with the 12 screws.
- Install hood to radiator grille seal
- Install the new double-side tape.
- Attach the 7 clips and install the hood to radiator grille seal.
Installation
- Install no. 2 Radiator grille lower (see page et-9)
- Install no. 1 Radiator grille lower (see page et-9)
- Install radiator grille (see page et-10)

Install ecm
Install the 2 brackets to the ecm with the 4 screws.
Torque: 3.0 N*m (30 kgf*cm, 27 in.*Lbf)
Connect the 2 ecm connectors.

dirt, water and other foreign matter does not
become stuck between the connector and ...
Removal
Disconnect cable from negative battery
terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the
cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to
prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
Remove fan and generator v belt
Remove the belt (see page em-6).
