Inspect cylinder block for warpage
Using a precision straightedge and feeler gauge,
measure the warpage of the surface that is in
contact with the cylinder head gasket.
Maximum warpage:
0.05 Mm (0.0020 In.)
If the warpage is greater than the maximum, replace
the cylinder block ...
Installation
Notice:
Do not heat the vehicle body, emblem and name plate
excessively.
Hint:
When installing the emblem and name plate, heat the vehicle
body, emblem and name plate using a heat light.
Standard heating temperature
Install no. 4 Back door name plate (for 4wd)
Clean the vehicle body ...
Reassembly (2006/01- )
Install drive shaft bearing case subassembly
(for rh)
Install the bearing snap ring.
Using sst and a press, press in the drive shaft
bearing case to the inboard joint rh.
