- Perform reset memory (at initialization) when replacing the automatic transmission assembly, engine assembly or ecm (see page ax-18).
- Perform registration (vin registration) when replacing the ecm (see page es-13).
Hint:
Initialization cannot be completed by only removing the battery.

Center airbag sensor assembly communication circuit malfunction
Description
The center airbag sensor communication circuit consists of the occupant
classification ecu and the
center airbag sensor.
Dtc b1790 is recorded when a malfunction is detected in the center airbag sensor
communication circuit.
