Components
Removal
- Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Remove glove compartment door assembly (see page ip-20)
- Remove tire pressure warning ecu
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the bolt and ecu.
Installation
- Install tire pressure warning ecu
- Install the ecu with the bolt.
Torque: 4.5 N*m (46 kgf*cm, 40 in.*Lbf)
- Connect the connector.
- Install glove compartment door assembly (see page ip-25)
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal
- Register transmitter id (see page tw-10)
- Inspect tire pressure warning system

Remove the valve core and cap, and release air
from the tire.

Install knock sensor
Install the sensor with the nut.
Torque: 20 n*m (205 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*Lbf)
Notice:
Make sure that the knock sensor is in the
correct position.
