Toyota RAV4 (XA40) 2013-2018 Service Manual: Installation
- Install camshaft timing oil control valve assembly
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to the o-ring of the oil control valve.
- Install the oil control valve with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 N*m (92 kgf*cm, 80 in.*Lbf)
Notice:
Make sure that the o-ring is not cracked or jammed.
- Connect the oil control valve connector.
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal
- Check for engine oil leaks
- Start the engine, and check that there are no oil leaks.
- Install no. 1 Engine cover (see page es-414)

Installation
Install air conditioner unit assembly
Install the a/c unit with the bolt and nut.
Torque: 9.8 N*m (100 kgf*cm, 7 ft.*Lbf)
Install instrument panel reinforcement
Install the instrument panel reinforcement with the 6
bolts.
Torque: 20 n*m (204 kgf*cm, 15 ft.*Lbf)
