Back door opener
- Vehicles without a power back door
Raise the back door while
pressing up the back door
opener switch. 
- Vehicles with a power back door
When the back door is unlocked: press the back door opener switch.
When the back door is locked (vehicles with a smart key system): while carrying the electronic key on your person, press the back door opener switch.
Pressing the switch while the back door is opening/closing stops the operation.

Pressing the switch closes the

Lower the back door using the
back door handle A, and make
sure to push the back door
down from the outside to close
it.
Be careful not to pull the back door
sideways when closing the back
door with the handle.

Inspection
Inspect generator brush holder assembly
Using a vernier caliper, measure the brush length.
Standard length:
9.5 To 11.5 Mm (0.374 To 0.453 In.)
Minimum length:
4.5 Mm (0.177 In.)
If the brush length is less than the minimum, replace
the generator brush holder assembly.
