- Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Remove no. 1 Engine cover (see page es-410)
- Remove air cleaner cap (see page es-411)
- Remove camshaft position sensor
- Disconnect the sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and sensor.

Inspection
Inspect camshaft position sensor
Measure the resistance of the sensor.
Standard resistance
Notice:
Cold and hot mean the temperature of the coils
themselves. Cold is from -10 to 50 ...
Other materials:
Cup holders
Front
Rear
Pull the armrest down.
Adjusting the size of the cup holder (front passenger’s side)
The adjuster can be removed.
Caution
Items unsuitable for the cup holders
Do not place anything other than cups or aluminum cans in the cup
holders.
Other items may be thrown out ...
Dtc check / clear
Check dtc
Connect the intelligent tester (with can vim) to the
dlc3.
Turn the ignition switch on and turn the intelligent
tester on.
Select the following menu items: diagnosis /
obd/mobd / immobiliser / dtc info /
current codes.
Check dtcs and then write them down.
