Toyota RAV4 (XA40) 2013-2018 Service Manual: Installation
- Install engine coolant temperature sensor
- Install a new gasket onto the sensor.
- Using sst, install the sensor.
Sst 09817-33190 torque: 19.6 N*m (200 kgf*cm, 14 ft.*Lbf)
- Connect the sensor connector.
- Install air cleaner case (see page es-431)
- Install air cleaner cap (see page es-413)
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal
- Add engine coolant (see page co-6)
- Check for coolant leakage (see page co-1)

Slip indicator light remains on
Description
The slip indicator blinks during vsc and/or trc operation.
When the system fails, the slip indicator comes on to warn the driver.
For 2wd: with auto lsd switch on, when the hydraulic brake booster is at a high
temperature, the slip
