Toyota RAV4 (XA40) 2013-2018 Service Manual: Evaporator temperatur sensor

Removal

  1. Remove air conditioning unit

  1. Remove the air conditioning radiator (see page ac- 185).
  1. Remove evaporator temperature sensor (see page ac-193)

Inspection

  1. Inspect evaporator temperature sensor

  1. Measure the resistance of the sensor.

Standard resistance


Notice:

Hint:

As the temperature increases, the resistance decreases (see the graph).

If the result is not as specified, replace the sensor.

Installation

  1. Install evaporator temperature sensor (see page ac-193)

  2. Install air conditioning unit

  1. Install the air conditioning unit (see page ac-197).
