- Install camshaft position sensor
Notice:
Make sure that the o-ring is not cracked or jammed when installing it.
- Apply a light coat of engine oil to the o-ring of the sensor.
- Install the sensor with the bolt.
Torque: 9.0 N*m (90 kgf*cm, 80 in.*Lbf)
- Connect the sensor connector.
- Install air cleaner cap (see page es-413)
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal
- Check for engine oil leakage
- Install no. 1 Engine cover (see page es-414)
Inspection
Inspect camshaft position sensor
Measure the resistance of the sensor.

Notice:
Cold and hot mean the temperature of the coils
themselves. Cold is from -10 to 50 ...

Description
The skid control ecu is connected to the combination meter via the can
communication system.
W/o multi information display:
if the skid control ecu stores any dtcs which relate to the vsc system, the vsc
warning light comes on
in the combination meter.

Check dtc (when using intelligent tester)
Connect the intelligent tester (with can vim) to the
dlc3.
Turn the ignition switch on.
Turn the tester on.
Read the dtcs by following the prompts on the
tester screen.
