- Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Remove no. 1 Engine cover (see page es-410)
- Remove air cleaner cap (see page es-411)
- Remove camshaft position sensor
- Disconnect the sensor connector.
- Remove the bolt and sensor.

Compressor solenoid circuit (2006/01- )
Description
In this circuit, the compressor receives a refrigerant compression demand
signal from the air conditioning
amplifier. Based on this signal, the compressor changes the degree of
refrigerant compression.

Replace intake valve guide bush
Heat the cylinder head to 80 to 100°c (176 to
212°f).
Place the cylinder head on wooden blocks.
Using sst and a hammer, tap out the guide bush.
