On-vehicle inspection
- Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal
Caution:
Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.
- Remove starter relay
- Remove the starter relay from the no. 7 Relay block.
- Inspect starter relay
- Measure the resistance of the relay.
Standard resistance 
If the resistance is not as specified, replace the relay.
- Install starter relay
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal
Installation
Install starter assembly
Install the starter with the 2 bolts.
Torque: 37 n*m (377 kgf*cm, 27 ft.*Lbf)

Notice:
Do not remove the hole plug before connecting the
brake tube. New actuators are filled with brake fluid.
Install the actuator with bracket with the 3 nuts.
