Removal

  1. Remove transmission oil cooler

  1. *1: Disconnect the no. 3 Water by-pass hose from the transmission oil cooler.
  2. *2: Disconnect the no. 4 Water by-pass hose from the transmission oil cooler.
  3. *3: Disconnect the no. 1 Oil cooler inlet hose from the transmission oil cooler.
  4. *4: Disconnect the no. 1 Oil cooler outlet hose from the transmission oil cooler.
  5. Remove the 3 bolts and oil cooler from the bracket.

Installation

  1. Install transmission oil cooler

  1. Install the oil cooler to the bracket with the 3 bolts.

Torque: 12 n*m (122 kgf*cm, 9 ft.*Lbf)

  1. *1: Connect the no. 1 Oil cooler outlet hose to the transmission.
  2. *2: Connect the no. 1 Oil cooler inlet hose to the transmission.
  3. *3: Connect the no. 3 Water by-pass hose to the transmission.
  4. *4: Connect the no. 4 Water by-pass hose to the transmission.
  1. Add automatic transaxle fluid

  2. Inspect automatic transaxle fluid
