Components
Removal
- Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal
- Remove instrument panel sub-assembly upper
- Remove the instrument panel (see page ip-4).
- Remove power steering ecu
- Disconnect the 4 connectors.
- Remove the 3 nuts and remove the power steering ecu.
Installation
- Install power steering ecu
- Install the power steering ecu with the 3 nuts.
Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*Lbf)
- Connect the 4 connectors.
- Install instrument panel sub-assembly upper
- Install the instrument panel (see page ip-9).
- Connect cable to negative battery terminal

pan and on the magnet to determine what type of
wear has occurred in the transaxle.

keep engine idling with a/c on (engine
speed at less than 2000 rpm) for at least 1
minute:
Refrigerant gas has been refilled or a/c parts have
been replaced.
