Removal

Disconnect cable from negative battery terminal

Caution:

Wait at least 90 seconds after disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal to prevent airbag and seat belt pretensioner activation.

Remove console rear end panel (see page ip- 19)
Remove center power outlet socket assembly

Toyota RAV4. Remove center power outlet socket assembly

Disconnect the connector.
Detach the 2 claws and remove the power outlet.

Installation

Install center power outlet socket assembly

Toyota RAV4. Install center power outlet socket assembly

Attach the 2 claws to install the voltage inverter
Connect the connector.

Install console rear end panel (see page ip- 27)
Connect cable to negative battery terminal
